Frequently asked questions

Why is substrate preparation equipment needed?
Peat from big bales and briquettes is compressed. Before sowing it has to be loosened, fluffed and blended with additives — only then does the substrate give a uniform structure and stable germination.
What can peat be blended with?
With perlite, vermiculite, mineral fertilizers, starch and other additives. The recipe is set by crop and by the nursery technology.
Who is this equipment for?
Forest and flower nurseries, greenhouse operations and seed production centres — anyone preparing substrate in batches rather than by hand.
