Cookie Policy

Cookies are small text files that a site, or a service connected to it, stores in your browser and reads on your next visits. As a rule they hold no name — only a random number that lets the service tell one browser from another.

Besides cookies, a browser can keep data in local storage. The difference matters: the contents of a cookie are sent to the server with every request, whereas local storage stays in the browser and goes nowhere until the site itself reads it.

The site sets no cookies of its own. In the browser's local storage it keeps two values:

• the colour theme you picked — light, dark or system;
• a note that you accepted the cookie notice: the date of this policy's version and the time you pressed the button.

Both values stay in your browser, are never sent to our servers and are not linked to the phone number or email from your request. The language you selected is kept in the page address (/en/, /ru/, /kk/), not in a cookie.

Visit statistics are collected by external web analytics services: Google Analytics (Google LLC), Yandex Metrica (Yandex LLC) and Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corporation). It is they, not the site, that set cookies in your browser. The usual set is:

• _ga — Google Analytics, tells visitors' browsers apart, stored for up to 2 years;
• _ga_<counter id> — Google Analytics, session state, up to 2 years;
• _ym_uid — Yandex Metrica, browser identifier, up to 1 year;
• _ym_d — Yandex Metrica, date of the first visit, up to 1 year;
• _ym_isad — Yandex Metrica, whether an ad blocker is enabled, up to 2 days;
• _ym_visorc — Yandex Metrica, operation of Webvisor, about 30 minutes;
• _clck — Microsoft Clarity, visitor identifier, up to 1 year;
• _clsk — Microsoft Clarity, groups page views into one session, 1 day;
• CLID, MUID — Microsoft Clarity and other Microsoft services, browser recognition on the service side, up to 1 year.

Webvisor is enabled in the Yandex Metrica counter: it records cursor movement, scrolling and clicks on the page so that we can see how visitors use the site.

The exact file names and lifetimes are set by the services themselves and change without our involvement — the current lists are published by Google, Yandex and Microsoft. The set of connected counters may differ as well: if a service is not enabled on the site, its files will not appear in your browser.

Depersonalised statistics show which sections people read, where visitors come from, and on which pages and devices something breaks. We use it to decide what to expand and what to fix.

This data is not linked to the phone number or email from your request: requests and statistics live in different systems.

On your first visit a cookie notice appears at the bottom of the screen with a link to this page. Pressing “Accept” saves a note in the browser's local storage, and the notice stops appearing.

It will appear again if you clear the site data in your browser, open the site in another browser or in private mode, or if we update this policy: the note stores the version date you agreed with.

The analytics counters start working when the page opens, without waiting for the button to be pressed. The laws of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan require informing the visitor about the use of cookies and providing a way to opt out — the ways to opt out are described below.

The first way is your browser settings. The same place lets you delete files that are already stored:

• Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies and site data;
• Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security;
• Safari: Settings → Privacy;
• Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions.

The second way is to opt out at the analytics service itself:

• Google Analytics — the official browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout;
• Yandex Metrica — the opt-out page at yandex.com/support/metrica/general/opt-out.html;
• Microsoft Clarity — Microsoft privacy settings at privacy.microsoft.com.

Private browsing mode helps too: the files are removed once the window is closed.

The site keeps working: pages open, the form submits, the language switches — none of that depends on cookies.

If you block site data entirely, the browser will not remember the colour theme you picked, and the cookie notice will appear on every visit: there is nowhere to save the acceptance note.

Google LLC and Microsoft Corporation are based in the United States and Yandex LLC in Russia, so processing these statistics involves a cross-border transfer of data. Each service handles it under its own rules published on its website.

What exactly is transferred together with a request, and on what grounds, is set out in the privacy policy and in the consent to the processing of personal data.

A new version is published on this page, and the date at the top shows when that happened. After an update the cookie notice is shown again.
